Caroline Ahrens, born in Hamburg, was educated in both Great Britain and Germany. She studied Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich and graduated with a Diploma in 1984. For the subsequent 12 years she worked as a project architect in architectural teams in London and Hamburg, among others with BDP and WES & Partner. Since 1987 she has been a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute and was registered with the Hamburg Chamber of Architects in 1997. Caroline has developed a professional knowledge of her specialist subjects in the context of actual planning, design and competition work.
